A l'orée de la forêt de Fausses-Reposes

Walking in the falling snow on the edge of Fausses-Reposes forest on Tuesday morning... Those little green and yellow curled up things in the foreground are daffodils...

Sous la neige qui tombe mardi matin... Ces petites choses vertes et jaunes recroquevillées au premier plan, ce sont des jonquilles...

Poor wee daffodils! I'll bet they woke up to a surprise! Spring has been delayed a bit, it appears!

Winter's last sting indeed! I'm hoping those poor daffodils survive too, very thrilling to see even bits of them.

Daffodils are amazingly hardy, however, so I'm hoping they will bloom for you.

Lovely image. Makes me think of Robert Frost's Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening.

Just hold on, Ciel. Those daffodils will be holding their annual spring show pretty soon.

Gosh how resilient are they braving that bitterly cold weather.. Hold on Ciel, surely it can't continue much longer.

Those daffodils are somewhat in trouble, I guess...
