Escalier de la mairie

I know today was the first of the new 'festivals' for the CDP community. I am, however, in bed with a high fever, feeling as rough as it gets and have not had the courage to reflect on the 'then and now' theme. It is also the reason why I haven't visited your blogs, and I hope you will forgive me. This, by the way, is the staircase of the town hall.

I'm so, so sorry that you're having to deal with a miserable cold!! The last thing anyone wants to have any time. I do hope you get well quickly, Ciel! I do love your photo for the day though! An awesome stairway and a superb capture!! Take care of yourself!

I love the stair case. The spiral design is intriguing.

I'm sorry to hear you are not well, rest and get well soon!

Get well soon, Ciel. I hope it is a short-lived cold.

Today's composition is excellent. It is like taking a chambered nautilus, coating it with lapis lazuli, and then dangling a marble sculpture in front of it.

It's so regal looking. Just waiting for someone to come down in a red velvet dress.

Get well soon! A bad winter bug is no fun, lots of rest and liquids. Beautiful photograph and composition. It really does look like a nautilus chamber as someone said above!
