La Maréchalerie version Noël

You have seen a much better view of the back of the king's small stables (which is now Versailles' contemporary art centre) here. But I couldn't resist the view through the Christmas tree!

Je vous ai montré une bien meilleure vue de l'arrière des petites écuries du roi (transformées de ce côté en centre d'art contemporain) ici. Mais je n'ai pas su résister à cette vue au travers d'un sapin de Noël !

Silly me, I was wondering how you managed to find oranges, outside at this time of year :-)

Nice perspective!!

The golden color just pops in this shot.

Le sapin est dans les tons que j'ai choisis cette année pour ma deco! Aurais-je un esprit royal?! :o)

Nice, artsy shot! I can see why you couldn't resist. It's a beautiful scene what with the tree and the balls, ribbons and silver decoration!

A super 'Christmassy' image Ciel, it was a good idea to get this perspective.

It's even prettier through the tree! I love it that the Chateau takes the season seriously and gets everything decked out.

PS: I also leave for work when it's dark and come home when it's dark. It's very depressing. But the days will be getting longer again come Dec. 22nd! :)

I like how you framed it!

I wouldn't have been able to resist either, oh those jewel-toned ornaments. The other shot is lovely, but I've a soft spot for this tree-framed view too:)
