Hôtel des ventes du château

Auction room on Avenue de Saint-Cloud. This photo was taken a year ago, a little earlier in November.

Cette photo a été prise il y a un an, à peu près à la même période de l'année.

So they hold auctions here and you can go in and bid? Furniture, etc.?

Looks very leafy at this time of year (last year) and I'd say parking is at a premium in your town!

I love the cobblestone streets, but I imagine they get tiring if you have to deal with them every day.

The modern arched windows complements it's neighbor. A beautiful view.

That is the perfect window for an auction room! Whetting people's appetite for the treasures inside:) I love the leafy piles, it's looking like that here.

(So cool you spent youthful years in London! I wish we had more bonfires here - we have George Washington to thank for that, apparently he banned Guy Fawkes bonfires amongst his soldiers...the event never made a comeback:)

I love big open windows like this. Love the leaves scattered around the floor too!

I think I can see all sorts of treasures in the big window Ciel, especially when pulled in closer. Auctions are exciting as long as you don't get too carried away and overbid.

For some reason it immediately made me thing of Piaf singing Autumn Leaves.

Rare day off here.
