It is a mess. Continuing road work no doubt.

Patience. Don't be beating yourself up and have only GOOD thoughts. MB

Gee, I am surprised they didn't rope it off so no one tripped on the mess.

Don't you just hate that.

En esperant que ces bornes seront réutilisées quelque part, elles sont plus belles que les obus autour des monuments aux morts! :-)

Hopefully it won't take as long to makeover the roads there as it does here! The fair looks colorful and tantalizing from afar:)

(I remember the 1999 hurricane there, just months after I visited - so terrible.)

en voyant le titre de ton post, je m'attendais pas a voir cette photo ;). Au moins tu as une fete foraine, on en a jamais a Evry, de peur que ca dégénère, c'est bien dommage

Looks like some of the many places with roadwork here in Stavanger. Remember good shoes.

Such a dismal approach!

At first I thought it was the aftermath of the festival.

Ugh! I am sick of construction sites. It seems to be almost all we see here in Toronto. Hope yours is done quickly!

Yikes -- that is quite a mess! Surprised it isn't cordoned off from pedestrians.

Even the 'bad' stuff looks good :-)

Oh no :( Makeovers are a pain until they are finished.

It's a mess but that's usually necessary when one is rebulding a road. Sometimes people are a mess when trying to rebuild themselves, too. I know people on diets who get really grumpy. I won't name any names, though.
