That's very cool. Makes it more of a living history for the kiddos.
Re your question: I don't remember what kind of shop that was. I think it was empty and locked. Can't imagine why. :-)
I do agree with Lowell, Ciel, and it is a cool way to history come alive for the young ones! Great post and history for the day! Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!!
And me makes three. Great idea. I also like the reflection in the second shot.
An interesting piece of history and values!
God bless you!

Je me demande si le texte est étudié en classe... :-) même en partie? J'aime bien le côté ombre/soleil de ta photo.
Cool idea to decorate the school with this. I bet all the kids that go there never forget when the last article was ratified!
Love the light on the building too. Hope you are having a nice weekend. :)
What a great way to decorate the school.
A great way to bring history to life. History is interesting if presented the right way.
No I am not trotting yet. This staph infection in the knee really knocked everything awry. The infection is almost gone and I get to remove the PICC line from my arm on Wednesday but still have to take giant horse pills for another month. I went to the infection doc on Friday and Monday I will go to the bone doc. I hope I can get to out patient physical therapy. I still cant bend my leg. Such is life.
Are you travelling in Sept. ?

Well there's no excuse now to stop learning even when outside Ciel!
That will certainly reinforce the concepts in the declaration. It also makes for a really interesting window decoration.
Interesting words, but citizens could only be male and they did not abolish the institution of slavery.
Like your capture of these seemingly shimmering windows.
j'aime beaucoup l'angle choisit sur la premiere photo. Au final un weekend sympa, merci Mr Meteo ;)
Interesting idea and I agree with Lowell and Sylvia - good way to make history more alive.
As for the plant from your previous post, I reckon it's this one - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campsis_radicans
Have a great evening:)
I followed the link and many of the declaration concepts make me think a little of the U.S. "counterpart" declaration - a great history lesson (for me) and photo!
Très bon école doit donner exemple, j'ai aussi l'angle de la prise de vue très bien
