Le pavillon de chasse de Louis XIII

Final part of the Jacques Martin comics photo exhibition. This is Louis XIII's hunting castle. You may recognise the place as his son, Louis XIV, insisted on keeping the look of his father's castle when he decided to build the palace.

Dernière partie de l'expo photos Jacques Martin. Vous reconnaîtrez peut-être ce château. En effet, Louis XIV insista pour conserver l'apparence du pavillon de son père lors de la construction du palais.

Another beautiful and colorful image. The castle is pushed to the back by the vibrant red roofs of the stables. Interesting.

You can definitely see touches of todays Versailles I think, maybe not the really vibrant colours but the gardens for sure.
