Les martiens à vélo

Is this the Versailles Tardis? No, this strange looking spaceship is actually a bicycle garage! If the City Daily Photo Portal is still down on April 1 for 'cobblestones' Theme Day, a temporary McLinky has been set up by Julie on a temp blog here. Oh and there's a Grand Trianon staircase on Artsy Versailles.

Cool idea...I guess each door holds one bicycle.

Looks so modern, but a great way to travel.

Boy have I been out of the loop! What is happening to the city daily photo portal? They are the anchor to our community!

Hats off to your "word verification free ness" How on earth do you protect yourself from the spam?

A bicycle garage? That is a first for me.

I love it so much more than the boxes we have at the train station.

Ca peut aussi servir à Superman pour changer de tenue.

Here it would be harder (but not impossible) to steal the whole thing...

A great idea to keep them safe and dry, I've never seen anything like it.

This "garage" would keep our bike out of the weather, which is probably a good thing. I'm assuming there are ways to secure a bike inside.

Re your question: I worship nothing. In fact, I'm mightily tempted to kick this golf ball ornament when I walk past. But the house belongs to a friend, so I can't do that. I'm going to kick a few golf balls today, though!

Very interesting! I have no cobblestones to offer this theme day, sadly.

What a great idea specially in rainy Seattle where there are bikers galore. MB

So why is CDP down? MB

A bicycle garage, unusual, never heard of one but sounds like a good idea.

Being a huge Dr Who fan, I love the reference to the Tardis Ciel, and a bicycle garage is something I haven't seen until now either, such interesting things you see everyday on CDP oui!
