Petit nounours rose

Not far from the graffiti stencil I posted on Monday was this little bear, in its meulière (a siliceous sedimentary rock very commonly used in buildings around Paris) 'cavern'... I picked it up and then resisted the urge to bring it home, wash it, darn it... I put it back in place and now I feel bad about it. Do I need therapy?!

it does look so lost and alone there Ciel! perhaps a thrift store could find a home for this sad little bear!

Let's hope its original owner or another deserving child finds it.

Maybe the child placed it there for another child to find.

No, you don't. You did the right thing. Someone had a reason to put the bear there.

What a great find. I probably would have take him somewhere better too. I hear you. After class tonight I am dragging and could sleep for a week.

Was the bear placed? Or tossed? That's the quandary.

I vote that it should stay.

It is a hard decision. Be easy on yourself.

I seems to be intentionally tucked away. I think you did the right thing, it's there for a purpose.

Neat patterns in the stone.

You shouldn't give me straight lines like that! ;-)

You're just conflicted as to what was the right decision. But you've got to consider the bear's feelings.

Cute. That rock looks much like the rock here in central Florida!

You know I like very much this kind of pictures!

you may need therapy, but not for this. your inclination to repair the bear was motivated by kindness. your decision to leave it in situ was an act of sensitivity to all parties concerned. perhaps you could come here and stitch up a few of my bears? you can stretch out on my couch and sew as you unburden yourself. Brattcat's offer sounds like just the 'therapy' you need Ciel! Poor little bear out there in the cold, no I'm only kidding!!

Poor sweet bear! I would have been tempted to take her home too. Some child is probably heartbroken without her favorite toy. :(
