Clic clac merci Kodak

Yesterday, working from home, I ran an errand at lunchtime. It was a grey and humid day and this was the scene in front of the palace. I had a bit of fun with the photo. You can see the palace in the background and the statue of Louis the 14th framed by Bernar Venet's massive work.

Hier, je télétravaillais et ai fait une course entre midi et deux. Voici une scène assez typique devant le château (avec la statue équestre de Louis XIV encadrée par l'oeuvre massive de Bernar Venet. Je me suis un peu amusée avec la photo...

Well captured.

I love this one, Ciel. Very well composed, has the right icons in it, and there is something about the weather and the white sky that adds some mystery to it.

Fun shot! I think the woman in blue had the same thought as you.

Perfect frame job! I believe that Louis XIV is in a great pair of parentheses... rouge, bien sûr!

I don't recall the framing structure last time I was there. It's a nice effect.

Oh, so that's Benet. For a while I thought they were elk antlers.

Great shot with all the people.

I wonder if Bernar likes twizzlers? ;-)

Very interesting structure by the architect. It makes me think of laurel leaves! So happy that you decided to take a look that day!

Judging by the way people are dressed, it doesn't appear to be as hot there as it is in other parts of France.

Cool capture of your onlookers. They make the shot for me.

Great shot of people taking photos! These are always fun, especially since yours included a great statue, too :D

Ha, I love how you framed this image, especially the statue of Louis with the crowd of onlookers in the foreground. That's fun!
