Wednesday Doorway: pur Versailles

This shop is where copies of Antiques can be found -yes, that's what it says right there! I kind of think the door is very inviting and the furniture is beautiful, in pure Versailles style.
-------------------------------
Si on ne peut trouver de l'ancien, on prend la copie et il y en a de très belles. J'ai trouvé la porte très accueillante.

I'm not into antiques, mainly because most of the stuff sold in antique stores is younger than I am!

Copies of antiques seems rather like an anachronism...but, to each his/her own!

I love that sign! The colors are really inviting. I don't covet antiques for the most part, but I'll always look at them. Now the sign, I would take home.

But with a modern look!!
pas de dorures ou de tissus chargés!

There's nothing wrong with copies of antiques, as long as they are sold as such. Many or most of us couldn't tell the difference.

By the way, I didn't know your German was so good.

Copies---how funny. I do like the whiter chair--it would look nice in my bedroom. MB

I like the two "dinner table chairs" more than the others, but a place with very stylish furniture.. love the BLUE sign too.

Le cannage fait pas trop "d'époque" mais quelques jours utilisé par ma tribu, il n'y paraîtra plus......
C'est vrai qu'elle est agréable cette entrée.

I'm not a big fan of antique furniture, but I do like this shot! I like the middle chair the best.

Reproductions have become an interesting business, I think. It'll be even more interesting when the copies become antiques. LOL

There must be some very talented furniture makers behind this.

Indeed it does invite exploration. there is something about that tired looking blue sign that draws one in! Good idea if you run such a shop :o)
