Welcome back! Hope that you had a good time.

This is a beautiful photo and a great bleu ciel!

Looks like a nice place to sit and read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee...

Welcome back! Quite the history on this place! One of the top ten schools, it must be quite good, interesting to me as an educator. I wonder what qualities makes it a top ten.

I think General Hoche is quite lucky, this is a very nice green square. Even in Paris avenue Hoche is one of the greenest.

@ Jacob: it would be a wonderful place to sit and read a book if it wasn't... for the pigeons. Warning: your head is at risk when sitting under these chestnut trees.

We missed you and we are glad you are back!

«Louis» didn't have much time to visit blogs last week, so he didn't leave any comments chez vous while you were gone. (He knows this is your first post since you left.)

It can be tough to keep up with Daily Photo blogs while away. My wife and I went to Italy for two weeks and are just returning to making the rounds of our favorite blogs.

My brother and his family will be leaving on his first trip to Europe soon, and they will be concentrating on France, with Versailles on their itinerary, of course.
