I'm cheating: this photo of the Petit Trianon, queen Marie-Antoinette's favourite residence in the palace grounds, was taken about this time last year and isn't quite as clear as I would have liked it to be. Petit Trianon is a very interesting building, although I'd have never guess it was Marie-Antoinette's favorite residence.
This is a lovely composition, Ciel. Far better to post it a year late than never to have posted it at all.
At a glance, I would never guess that this was a picture of the Petit Trianon. It made me think of some dour palace in Scotland.

I don't find it cheating at all - maybe because I do it, too :) I loved the tour of the Petit Trianon. I hope to see even more in coming posts. I especially liked the blue, gold, and white stairwell pix.

ce n'est pas tricher, c'est partager tes archives!Et en plus, elles en valent la peine, moi je trouve ces effets sur l'eau très romantiques, avec le château à l'arrière..

I'm not sure what you mean about cheating as long as it's your photo and it has a reflection it's fine. :) That looks like an amazing place with lots of history. I would sure like to talk a walk around there right now.

How wonderful to live so close to ancient history. WOW! I love this photo.
I also like the name of your blog. I own a classic unique American car which is called a Lincoln Versailles. It is a beautful, elegant yet odd looking car. I'll have to post it sometime.
