Weekend Reflections : les chapeaux au marché Notre-Dame

A couple of weeks back, a friend* and I bought some hats at this Notre-Dame market stall on a cold and dreary Saturday afternoon! To see more Weekend Reflections visit James @ Newtown Area Daily Photo.

The first photo is an amazing reflection shot! You are to be commended for having a great eye!

Which hats did you buy?

Those hats are just "smashing!" Did you find a good deal on a hat?

I agree with Jacob. The first shot is your winning photo while the second provides context and is a nice photo in it's own right.

Love the reflection! Especially like the shiny gold features criss-crossing the image!

@ Jacob: they aren't on the photo!

Quite inventive. Imagine photographing a person, not just a mannequin, from this angle. The subject might not be pleased but the photographer and her audience might be.

The reflection of the mannequin is just great but so exciting to have the golden diagonals in the background, too. I do not know ND sufficiently to know if they are part of ND.

Well captured.

Très original et marrant! Parfois, les photos les plus interessantes à faire sont juste sous notre nez!
J'espère que tu as trouvé un joli chapeau..Ü

As that you are into photography, I thought that you may be interested in a monthly blog posting called “5 on the fifth” where You can either take 5 random pictures of anything that happens to you on the 5th of December (or the days leading up to it) or perhaps go for my suggested theme.

Just post your pictures on your own blog and then post a comment on MY blog with your name, location and link to your site – I then update the entry so the world has your link. Remember to mention my blog on your own blog so that your visitors get to see the other contributions.

Interested?

I would have to be reminded to wear the hats - I never think of it - but I love the colors.
