A couple of weeks back, a friend* and I bought some hats at this Notre-Dame market stall on a cold and dreary Saturday afternoon! To see more Weekend Reflections visit James @ Newtown Area Daily Photo.

The first photo is an amazing reflection shot! You are to be commended for having a great eye!
ReplyDeleteWhich hats did you buy?
Those hats are just "smashing!" Did you find a good deal on a hat?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jacob. The first shot is your winning photo while the second provides context and is a nice photo in it's own right.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflection! Especially like the shiny gold features criss-crossing the image!
ReplyDelete@ Jacob: they aren't on the photo!
ReplyDeleteQuite inventive. Imagine photographing a person, not just a mannequin, from this angle. The subject might not be pleased but the photographer and her audience might be.
ReplyDeleteJacob said what «Louis» was going to say!
ReplyDeleteThe reflection of the mannequin is just great but so exciting to have the golden diagonals in the background, too. I do not know ND sufficiently to know if they are part of ND.
ReplyDeleteWell captured.
Very nice shots!
ReplyDeleteThe one with the mirror is quite unique and artistic! :-)
Great reflection. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteStunning reflection in this first shot, great work Ciel!
ReplyDeleteI liked a lot and I'm so envious, I would love be there with you and your friend, shopping a hat as well! They are so beautiful!I liked the pink one!Ahhh and the black one is very charming too!
Have a nice weekend! I hope without rain there!
Léia
Love the first photo, a great reflection shot.
ReplyDeleteCute hats! I guess it qon't be long mow before we have to wear them to keep out heads warm, eh?
ReplyDeleteQuels beaux chapeaux! Et ils sont tous ronds...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant reflection shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of hats. So much fun. I hope your friend sold some! Are hats in style these days in your great city?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures, and the photos are great!
ReplyDeleteCiel ahead!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be ready for a cold winter.
My hat is off to you, CQ. That first shot is terrific.
ReplyDeleteThese are such fun shots. The first one is really great! Kathy
ReplyDeleteTrès original et marrant! Parfois, les photos les plus interessantes à faire sont juste sous notre nez!
ReplyDeleteJ'espère que tu as trouvé un joli chapeau..Ü
Bon week-end!
Like others before me I really like the reflective shot.
ReplyDeletethe first photo is so very cool!

I would have to be reminded to wear the hats - I never think of it - but I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great reflection shot - so creative! And isn't trying on hats such fun? ;)
