My inspiration for this post clearly came from Italy. Awhile back, Vogon Poet featured trash in Livorno. Some days, the versaillais don't do much better. Let's hope it was a special trash collection day. Sorry I didn't have time to visit all your blogs yesterday.

Car parking and trash disposal clearly show the worst side of our fellow citizens. Nice catch!

That hobby horse had seem some hard use. And then, just tossed aside!

I'm so often surprised that some things I think must be limited to crazy Americans appear in other parts of the world.

And my second thought about this is that you saw the post of VP's draft horse, so you included one of a hobby horse. ;-)

Tell me, did you find anything useful in this mess?

I guess it's preferable to the glue factory. I hope someone takes him home.

Maybe it was moving day or a child growing up.

A sort of urban anthropology. We learn so much about ourselves by looking at our garbage! Love the close up!

I think we can learn a lot about a place by looking at its trash. I wonder if the people of Versailles are as wasteful as the people of East Gwillimbury. Hmm

The title of this post just makes me sad. I know things are just things, but it still makes me sad to see them tossed aside. :(

thank you for coming by my blog and offering such a warm welcome.

Many years ago, visiting NYC, they were in the middle of a garbage strike. The stink! The rats!

The little horse looks so sad to be discarded. Maybe he'll find another home and make another child happy.

No matter if it is trash collecting day or not, some people just leave their stuff like that here too and I believe it's allways the same people! Hate these guys!
