An angel above a tomb at Gonards cemetary.
Happy Thanksgiving to all those who celebrate it.

This is a very sentimental artistic image in deed

Don't you love to walk through old cemetaries just for this reason? I also search for benches!!!!!! lol I am going to try to get back to blogging again after my recent back injury. . . almost feeling up to par now. Thanks for dropping by several times.

You really set such a haunting mood here with the upshot and soft light.

There is beauty and sadness in cemeteries, you found both in this statue.

Cette photo est magnifique!
Un ange ne dort jamais, il est toujours là pour nous protéger et nous éclairer ... juste croire!

I'm of the opinion we should be thankful everyday;so every day is Thanksgiving Day.

This is absolutely beautiful, Ciel! Such nice colors, too. I love the wispy treetops with just a few leaves left.

Love the sepia tones and bare branches. Perhaps a better world to come.

Thanks for your concern. Our family is thankful in an unusual way. One of us was diagnosed with a very treatable form of cancer Monday but needed urgent surgery yesterday. Resting at home now. With typical Crowe family black humor, the patient's S.O. is wearing a Monty Python Spamalot tee shirt that says "I'm Not Dead Yet." We're all together on the holiday.
