Un autre regard sur le cimetière Notre-Dame

I had shown you Notre-Dame cemetery angels here. These are slightly more general views of the graveyard, including the entrance. I apologize for not having time to visit your blogs, I have had some pressing matters to attend to.

A classic cemetery with these strange bunches of tombs: I could spend a day looking around there.
Don't worry, hope everything is OK with you...

We were in a relatively old graveyard today but nothing like this one. I'd love to ramble around there looking at the tombstones! Nice shooting...

Hope you got things settled to your satisfaction!

I hope all is well for you, Ciel. We did a website for a photographer who had these type of images. They are in portfolio one.

I especially like the top cemetery photo! By "pressing maters" do you mean the Autumn clothing and shoe sales?!

It looks like there are a lot of interesting stones in the cemetery.

Guess I'd rather spend a week at Trianon Palace Hotel than "live" here for a week.

Looks like a whole city of the dead.

Hope your pressing matters don't press you too much.

@ Leif: no. I wish futility had been my main problem.

These monuments are amazing. It does indeed look like a small, quiet cityscape. Hope all is well with you soon.

Before digital cameras we used to take gravestone rubbings because headstones are really interesting!
