La pièce d'eau des suisses

Do you remember the orangerie? If not, you can have a peek by clicking here. In that post, I was telling you that the small lake in the background was the "Swiss Water". Here's a closer, and lower view of it. It was dug by a Swiss guards regiment between 1679 and 1682, hence its name.

Vous souvenez-vous de l'orangerie ? Séance de rattrapage par ici. Au fond se trouve la pièce d'eau des suisses, que voici vue de plus près et de moins haut ! Elle doit son nom au régiment des gardes-suisses qui creusa le lac de 13 hectares.

This view looks so different from the photo of the orangerie where the Swiss Water was in the background. I love the colors and the lighting - it almost looks unreal.

La lumière est belle, elle me rappelle celle autour de l'étang de Monet, c'est l'humidité qui diffuse le soleil. Les feuilles transparentes sont un must.
(J'espère que ton genou et ton APN vont mieux.)
