La vie méconnue de Versailles

One encounters many, many tourists in the palace grounds. The locals however, are extremely swift, I honestly thought I wouldn't manage to catch this little fellow!
----------------------------------
On voit de nombreux, nombreux touristes dans le parc du château. Les véritables habitants toutefois sont extrêmement véloces, j'ai bien cru que je ne parviendrais pas à immortaliser celui-ci !

Oops, I forgot to tell you something: You had to be quick to take this picture, for as you know, it's hare today and gone tomorrow!

Looks like he might be running from the dinner pot.

Looks like he is running from the menacing shadow...Watch out, little guy!
(Hope your Tuesday is rosier!)

It's delightful to see this rabbit. I like the simplicity of the photo!

great job capturing this speeding rabbit. They seldom sit still, but just long enough to devour our rose plants.

How enigmatic. Very nice use of depth of field. The rabbit looks to be fleeing ominous shadows for someplace safer, and in a big hurry.

You caught him in mid-air! Nice to see some "wildlife" amid all the culture and manicured grounds.

Even if this was a lucky catch it's a great composition...emphasises the tiny rabbit against that dark shadow. I was trying to catch ravens on camera this weekend...very difficult!

Very nice. Looks like the rabbit is escaping the grips of the dark shadow.

I've met quite a few of his (?) cousins during my nightly excursions lately. These are nice fellows and I'm sure this one also prefers an early morning without tourists...

Je préfère aussi ces visiteurs du Parc mais ils sont difficiles à photographier. Bravo pour la rapidité !

A FANTASTIC shot! These little guys are hard to catch...let alone when you've got your camera ready. I'm impressed. Well done!

Wonderful snapshot and minimalist, but great setting.

Je me demande si les anciens proprietaires courraient aussi vite dans les bosquets!!!

Run rabbit run - well done for actually catching the rabbit. I have tried in the past but they are too quick!

Tu l'as échappé belle ! Dangereux le parc de Versailles avec les risques de collision avec les lapins de Pâques en chocolat.
(Bah oui, le Père Noël est bien au Pôle Nord quand il travaille pas...)
