The first thing anyone driving to Versailles from Paris on road D910 at this time of year will admire is a sea of daffodils on both sides of the avenue!------------------------------
La première chose que verra le conducteur qui arrive de Paris par la D910 à cette époque de l'année est un océan de jonquilles de part et d'autre de l'avenue !
These daffodils are flowers for Whit who died on Saturday. May he rest in peace and his father find answers and solace.

FANTASTIC! We are totally jealous of course. What a treat to see them though. Ours will be perhaps even a couple of weeks this year. Longest dullest winter in living memory. Enjoy your beautiful spring colors.

Wowie zowie! That sort of defines abundance. But then, isn't everything in Versailles on a grand scale? My daffs have not liked the past two winters and have thinned themselves (usually I have to do that).
I read in Raf's comments that you were to have been in Seattle next week but are staying put. :-( Oh well, I hope another opportunity comes up. Thanks for sharing that amazing and beautiful stretch of road.
