Oops... VDP forgot to post these final pictures of the 'the king is dead' exhibition. It is the entrance of the exhibition but also the exit... And you had seen this staircase before, it was here, albeit not draped in black. The exhibition is closing on 21 February, should you be around, go. It's superb.
Oups...
Below, Charlemagne's sword (IX-XIth centuries)
Ci-dessous, l'épée de Charlemagne (IX-XIè siècles)

Wonderful, so dramatic, I love it...
Draped in black really is a dramatic look!
I wish I could go!
Even just seeing the sword would be enough for me.
I don't think I'm going to make it Ciel :) but I don't feel like I've missed out, your photos have been superb, merci beaucoup for taking us along with you.
The second photo is awesome! I wish I could visit there:)
super! love the middle shot!
Wow. Love the sombre feeling to this place. How neat to see these treasures in person.
These photos have a lot of drama in them.
So dark, so beautiful!
The stairs are really cool. The urn looks like something I've seen in an Indiana Jones movie.
J'imagine la richesse de cette expo. Tu as réussi à voler une photo ?
Roger
