A whole room of the 'the king is dead' exhibition is devoted to the fascinating official and private mourning etiquette and how it evolved over the centuries. VDP really liked this museography a lot! Sorry for not having visited your blogs yesterday, catch up today!
Toute une pièce de l'expo "le roi est mort" est consacrée au deuil, officiel ou privé, à son étiquette et à son évolution au fil du temps. VDP a adoré la muséographie !

I would be quite happy in this exhibit!
Wow these are really great, it looks like a stage set, nice pictures...
Can't you just imagine the sudden demand there would have been for black clothing?
Wonderful imagery, Ciel!
Great exhibition, VDP, and you photographed it nicely.
That subject could be very interesting.
Super de pouvoir voir en photos ce que l'on entend ou lit ces jours-ci sur cette exposition.
You really have captured this whole exhibition so well Ciel. The lighting wasn't easy. Why does this black and white diamond floor remind me of my kitchen floor :)
This looks a lot like a chess game to me! LOL
That's an interesting museum display. Your first image looks three dimensional, but your second is obviously two dimensions. The display has dramatic lighting. Well done.
I guess there is some advantage in such traditions. More, probably, for the elites than the regular folks. But it's nice that their memory has been preserved and that you were able to show some of them to us.
Fascinating subject matter for an exhibition. Looks interesting.
Quite strange and well photographed!
There is a lot of things going on at this exhibit.
This sounds like a really interesting exhibit.
I have really been enjoying this series. It touches on some uncomfortable topics.
