Philippe Calandre's utopic Venice photographic exhibition entitled 'Isola Nova' is visible at Espace Richaud in the former royal hospital until 8 November and VDP went last Saturday. Adding industrial buildings to the gorgeous landmarks is a very surprising and interesting take on Venice, don't you think? VDP liked the shadow of a window so included it in the first shot. All the info on the exhibition is this way, albeit in français!

Love, love that first shot, what a great exhibition, I'd love to see it..
Colonnades like this just can't be beat for symmetry and form.
A magnificent setting for the exhibit!
The venue for the exhibition looks just as inviting as the exhibits.
A wonderful space for a very interesting show, Ciel!
I like and what a fantastic place to hold an exhibition!
A very grand venue for the exhibits too.
Even industrial buildings have style in Venice Ciel :) wonderful photos and what a fabulous exhibition venue, I remember it from your last visit, that floor.. so good!
I was so charmed by Venice that I'm sure I would love this exhibit and the photographer's point of view.
Where is the photographic part? I see some photoshopped fantasy...
Merci !
I would love to see this exhibit in person. His work looks amazing!
I'm not sure Venice can look any better than it already does :)
I'm with VP on this one. Interesting, but ...
Yes, I like the shadow.
Joli partage.
