I agree with you it's a stunning building and should be cherished, sadly in London we seem to be in to much of a hurry to pull down some of the wonderful older parts. Smashing picture as well, wonderful colours.....
Your city is so beautiful and I love all the buildings - including these and the Morris column - and your photos are wonderful! Merci !

Amazing to think about how long those quoin corners have been around and where they pop up all over the world.
It is such a lovely building, Ciel! I will have to look up Morris columns.
That's a wonderful sight to see when emerging from the cul-de-sac Ciel, j'adore the classic style and grey slate (?) roof of the Prefecture building. Super series from your favourite spot.
Exit stage left for Wales and France. The southern hemispere big three are awesome. My dream is to see them routed by a northern team, but at the moment its just a pipe dream. I will be surprised if N Z get beaten.
A chaque coin de rue une belle vue!
I need to google Morris columns. I guess I'm going to learn something new today. ;))
I love taking these strolls down the streets of Versailles with you!
Even the Versailles method of advertisement is classy.
What a beautiful view!
That's a nice space to walk out into!
A beautiful shot of the building.
I remember that building: it is really beautiful!
