Un jour de plein été à la campagne ?

Sécheresse drought Versailles
It has been really, really hot and dry this July, these photos were taken on the 11th! No this isn't a country track, it's Madame Elisabeth's park!

Il a fait vraiment chaud et sec ce mois de juillet, ces photos ont été prises le 11 ! Ce n'est pas un chemin de campagne, c'est au domaine de Madame Elisabeth !

You're in desperate need of rain, and plenty of it.

Wow, that's looks really bad, we have had similar over here. A little rain would be nice to clear the mugginess in the air and water the grass both in Versailles and Wanstead..

It has been a dry July here too after an extremely wet June! The climate is really changing - scary!

We have had strange, drenching rain. Wish I could send some your way. Strange how weather works, isn't it?

Whew! Meanwhile it looks like a jungle here, we've had so much rain.

That park looks like a hay field. Sorry about the hot, dry July.

It does start me thinking of that cheesy old song "Take Me Home, Country Road."

The weather has been out of balance everywhere. We have been a little cooler and a lot wetter than normal.

We've had strange weather here. Hot and cold, cold and hot. At least it's not too dry. This looks like a real refuge from the city.

That does look very arid, hopefully the rain will arrive soon!

Whoa, that's DRY! Our Summer has been hot, but very wet, so it's quite the contrast.

I can't even remember what rain looks like now. Will we ever get any relief?

Really! I knew it was hot, but I was not aware that the grass has parched. How unusual.

You have a hot summer, and we in Northern Europe, in turn, have had the coldest and rainiest summer time. Fortunately, the sun has also be seen more on the coast where I live :).
So wonderful are these alone flowers

Over here it has been a rainy Summer so everything is really green. Expecting more rain over the weekend.
