BTW, red on a racing car is not exclusive to Ferrari. Historically it designated an Italian race car, originally a car made in Italy or driven by an Italian, and later (in some racing categories) it designated the nationality of the team that entered the car. Thus, the red Porsche driven by an Italian though made in Germany. French cars were blue, British cars were green, USA white and German cars silver.
I enjoy looking at the different progress of the flowers at your latitude and ours. We are about even with Rome and Athens. The tulips here have come and gone.
They're so striking, and they've held up well. It's a gorgeous display. I haven't seen any around here for a while. I think it's because they've been beaten mercilessly by the rain.

It is always sad when they disappear!

VDP is never wrong, a delightful sight! PDP is of the opinion that flowers ho!d their charm until the last petal falls :)

They are just starting to bloom in my neighbourhood.
I love tulips, especially when they are planted in masses. The red/orange striped ones are especially cool.
They do look nice. I like it when they get that frilly look.
