Evening atmosphere at the new place to be in town: the café la pêche (roughly, the fisher's café). It's a bit of an institution in Versailles, and the former café (which VDP had shown you here in 2009) actually used to sell fishing rods and tackle! It has changed owners last year and has become very trendy! That's Saint-Louis cathedral in the background!

That's a lovely set of pictures, you've really captured the atmosphere, great ;)
Not so much folks for a trendy place.
That's one serious looking clock! :-)
I would love to pay it a visit.
Looks like my kind of place.
That last photo looks very inviting! May I join you?
You've captured the lighting well.
c'est fou...je n'avais pas remarqué que c'était devenu un café !
Welch schöne Athmosphäre, Ciel !
Just my kind of place, it looks fabulous!
@ Josette : ça a toujours été un bar, du moins aussi longtemps que je puisse me souvenir. Mais depuis le changement de propriétaire, les cannes à pêche ne sont plus...
I like the looks of it and would certainly give it a try if I were to visit your fair city! Do they feature fish or is that just a name? Trendy often means expensive, so maybe I'd just have a cup of coffee. :)
I love all the photos of this fashionable place and it's easy to see how popular it is by all those people standing out front.
GDP and VDP began around the same time. Isn't it amazing how much change we've seen in the last 6 1/2 years!!!
I love your photo-documentary of this cafe, both from 2009 and 2015.
Happy Sunday!

I could settle here for an hour. Java time!
Love the clock. It's hard to miss and certainly provides no excuse for being late!
A very nice place and some amazing photos!
I do like the look of the place!
It looks very welcoming and cozy.
I love the floor tiles. The bathroom in my granny's had cement tiles exactly like this one and I enjoyed the different perspectives I could see watching from different points of view.
I'd go in there for sure!
that looks like my sort of place to hang out and have coffee with friends :-)
It is my kind of place, VDP. I'll meet you there.
It certainly looks popular!
Charmant endroit et ... appétissant
What a nice posting!
Great place!
I like the atmosphere. I can understand why others like to be there too.
