That looks so pretty! I would never be able to have something like that around my door. It would provide too good of a hiding place for snakes, lizards or other critters.
The ivy makes for a good photo, and a great living frame for the doors and windows, but the plants will eat the walls. Ivy can be most destructive, and these plants look like they have been there a long time.

Sooner or later that ivy will be blocking the door. What a beautiful frame!

Cela donne un charme fou a la maison. Et pourtant le lierre je ne l'aime que sur la maison des autres.
That is lovely.
Schaut gut aus :-)
That's a nice little cosy nook!
Good cover, I would imagine, for the birds.
Ditto what Lois said, but it does look so pretty..
So pretty ...so French!!
I like it. Especially because it's green and not covered with white like here.
The red door is perfect there between all that green.
That's been there a long time...look the branches are growing right up through the brick!
We had ivy on our other Ocala house but it took the paint and the stucco off when I tried to remove some of it. Not fun!
Charming, and very well kept!

That looks fabulous, Ciel!
Bushy walls, how cool. I've never seen such large trunks on ivy, they must have been growing forever.
The ivy is so lush!
