These young men of Lenôtre school were making sugar apples at Goûts d'Yvelines! Fascinating to watch! The whole creation below is made from sugar!
Ces jeunes gars de l'Ecole Lenôtre confectionnaient des pommes en sucre ! C'était fascinant à regarder, ce sont des artistes ! L'intégralité de la création ci-dessous est en sucre !

I think that's the first I've heard of sugar apples. They look far too tempting.
Amazing, Ciel! I would never eat these - they are too beautiful.
Love that first shot. I have never heard of these before.
The chefs' toques are also works of art but I think the apples are outstanding!
Why do they do it? Because they can.
I'm guessing the old saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away' doesn't apply here Ciel :)
Apres le mois du chocolat, voici venu le temps des pommes.
Ces pommes semblent une meilleure alternative aux "Candy apples!"
Quelle chance d'avoir pu voir leur confection.
As they say in the States, "sweet!" This is amazing work.
Works of art!
Young masters a work! I'd like to try a least a bit of one of these...
No one there could ever trust me with a torch. I'm bad enough with a stove top. :-)
Ce sont de vrais artistes ...
I'm impressed. I never would have guessed those were made from sugar.
Well, this is interesting. Not a calorie in sight, either! That final creation is quite amazing in itself, but I think it's the hats the "chefs" wear that pulls everything together!
I've never had a head for that sort of thing myself. :)
Beautiful pictures. The hats look like those of a whirling dervish.
I'm sure I would enjoy watching the sugar apples being made. Wish I were there!
