Driving home from Quimper last Saturday evening, you know when you are close to Versailles under this... er... dunno what it is... on A86 motorway. The next three exits are Versailles access roads!
Rentrant de Quimper samedi dernier, on sait qu'on arrive à Versailles quand on passe sous... euh... je ne sais pas comment il convient d'appeler ce truc...

Now you've got me wondering what IT is. :-)
The overhead beams do have a nice way of breaking up the sky. And what a sunset!
Speaking of Versailles - "You'd be so nice to come home to!" I hope you had one hand on the wheel when you were taking this gorgeous sunset!
Glorious way to end any day and a superb capture, Ciel!! Hope your week is going well!
I have seen nothing like that before, maybe they are going to put something on top but never got around to it yet. At least they didn't leave it in the road.
That looks so wonderful, Ciel!
Interesting underpass.
What a beautiful sky!
Je vais t'ecrire un mail par rapport de ma visite en aout. :-)
That is an intriguing structure. Maybe it's ART !
I like your technical description... 'er, dunno what it is' :-)
Whatever it is, I like it. It looks expensive. Nice sunset.
It looks like a kind of brise-soleil. Does 'what's on the other side of the road' need sun protection? Or maybe noise control for neighborhood comfort?
I'm trying to figure out how you took that photo while you were driving. :))
Die Fotos sind sehr schön, Ciel, aber es war sicherlich nicht ganz ungefährlich... oder?
If it was here in the desert I'd say it was there to provide much needed shade. Love that sunset shot.
On the highway to Versailles.. from Quimper ..yes please :)
Interesting structure. Coming home is nice even when we enjoyed being away. MB
Life undercover...
I like that thing, whatever it is...
Reminds me of driving into one of the Phoenix airport terminals, except they're not open to the sky as your image shows.
Lovely sunset image.
Lindy
Silly me, I thought it was a train station.
Love the lines in the first shot and such a beautiful sunset to follow.
