I've got another story. My dog ran into the woods and when he came out he carried a stick and planted it in the ground and that's where dogwoods come from.

We don't get it here, as far as I know- only further south on the continent. It really does grow big!

Oh this makes me miss the dogwoods back in the States (TN, VA, NC). They are so beautiful.
