A more challenging "stairway to heaven" I'd say. Anyway, I'm also back. I was in Italy last week as well. But I didn't see you ! Maybe because I was on Lake Como.
You don't like alligators - those poor little things, and I don't like heights. So, these climbing steps give me the jeebees! Interesting shot what with the contrast between the blue sky, the gray building and the sunlit side!

The sunshine is so lovely on the wall making the peeling paint on the dark side seem very sad, at least to me.

This is a fabulous shot! I definitely would not be climbing up there.
I'm glad I don't have to climb those steps.
I so want to climb the steps to see what awaits at the top ... Need me to move the antenna?
