VDP thinks the playground in parc de la bonne aventure is pretty cool and that this structure almost looks like modern art! Note the blooming chestnut tree in the second shot! It was in April...
VDP trouve que le parc de la bonne aventure est plutôt cool avec ce beau marronnier en fleurs ! C'était en avril...

Very colourful! I can see that being popular with the kids!
AND, they look like they might be fun for kids to climb. In the USA, the safety Nazis have taken all the fun out of kids' parks as they try to eliminate any possibility of injury (or fun!).
Oh, fun indeed!! And I do agree with Jack regarding the safety Nazis!! Glad my kids are grown!
That looks like a colorful and fun playground!
I really like that first one - I might even give it a go!
That first photo actually reminds me of my high school chemistry class. :-)
Looks like fun equipment.
sur la premiere photo je me croyais dans la cite des sciences
That's a very intricate looking playground structure!
I want to be a kid again!!
Hope you will soon be able to play on the beautiful apparatus.
These truly are works of art. I have to put a plug in for the safety brigade as someone who was very badly injured long ago at age 6 on a school playground. My memory of loss of blood and hospitalization still recurs occasionally. My current primary doctor was appalled when she first heard of it. Not to get too graphic but a new teeter-totter had been installed without the end of the tall screws removed. While trying to balance on it in the center, I fell and perforated my bladder. So, I am all for safety measures!!
What a lovely place, but that thing looks like a slimmer version of the Atomium in Brussels...
I've never seen a playground like this before. I think my grandkids would love it!
These playground gizmos have a certain appeal, especially that globular thing in the first shot. Round and round we go? But I agree with Kate. Common sense rules and some of the older playground equipment made of steel was rather dangerous.
I'll bet the kids love this stuff just as you would probably like Gator Bites. Gator bites are like chicken fingers, pieces of gator usually deep-fried to perfection. I haven't tried any, though. :)
