Tra scorza e scorza
This year's exhibition at the palace is devoted to Giuseppe Penone whose massive trees are planted in the gardens. This is 'Tra scorza e scorza' (between bark and bark), made of bronze and oak. Theme day is back! The September theme for City
Daily Photo member bloggers is "Pink." To participate, link your post on

That is awesome and your captures are fantastic, Ciel!! Thanks so much for sharing this!! Hope you've had a great weekend!!
There are a lot of his pieces at our Art Gallery of Ontario and I have always loved them. It would be fabulous to see this show.
Very cool! Regarding your question on my blog. There were dancers in two parts of the plaza. I had to shoot one and run to the other.
Monumental. I can't decide if a young tree is splitting a larger one or an old tree is crushing a tall sapling.
Very interesting. Thanks. MB
It's beautiful!Love this creative artwork and your pictures are great, I love the way you manage to capture the shadows and lights in your compositions, very well done!
hugs
Léia
What an amazing sight, you have set it off perfectly with the golden sunlight too!
j'aurais pas parié sur une expo au chateau avec ce type d'oeuvre
Not exactly a 'portable' exhibit. Interesting.
Fantastic piece! Very creative. :)
Goodness me! What a super shot Ciel, j'adore the angle you've taken here..tres, tres dramatic!
I am trying frantically to book a seat on the next flight to Paris only to see this absolute masterpiece.
Or may be not...
Sounds like a super exhibition. Wish I were there. ;)
Well, I hate to be a downer, but this makes me think Penone has too much time on his hands. What's the point? If you want a tree, plant a real one. :)
Umm, let's call it ... interesting.
