I happened to see Seurat's Un dimanche après-midi à l'Île de la Grande Jatte at the Art Institute of Chicago on Sunday. To be on the green on a sunny summer Sunday afternoon. Pure pleasure.

I recognize this kind of weather, here is sunny, but still quite cool and windy.
She knew how to make the most of a beautiful day! I love that it could almost be a scene from long ago... Beautiful flowers too, hope the freezing cold was a passing thing.
The top shot is so beautiful. If the lady had less cloths on it could be a David Hamilton's shot from his 70's 'on the nature' period! :-)
