Caroline Mailly, the extraordinary jeweller (and antiques shop owner too) of Anamnesia is a bit more than an artisan but I really wanted to show her work, her designs, her hands, her tools! To see more takes on the theme from all over the world, click here!

It is always fascinating to meet creative people and see what they can create with their hands. Nice portrait of Caroline.
I love the necklace!! Great shots and what a talented lady she is!
Oh wow, the necklace is fabulous Ciel, how perfect it would look with a simple black dress, nice. Unfortunately I can't open her website, would love to see more.
That necklace is gorgeous. I hope you persuaded yourself that you had to have it.
Good one.
Wow, she makes beautiful objects! I'm fascinated with jewelry makers and their creations (of course!) Really lovely to see the tools of her trade, especially her hands, here - wonderful theme post!
I really like that first necklace.
Jewelry making is such an ancient art yet continues to fascinate. And make some of us drool.
Very good idea. I like her hands too. MB
Un peu plus qu'un artisan.
I love that necklace! Amazing artwork!

De bien belles parures!
Une maitre artisane!
It's magic what some people can do with wire and beads!
Beautiful ART and nice color she has on her nails!:)
this is a super entry for the theme!
Glad to see a real artisan after so many half-artists. I see she is very good and skilled!
Lovely images! And I very much like the look of your blog. Thoughtful of you to use 2 languages. And...I like that nail polish too :).
Aha, nice works!
I'm impressed. It takes more than just materials and tools, I think, to become a true artisan. One must have a vision of what is possible using the materials and tools and then be able to make that vision a reality.
Caroline, there is no doubt, has the vision and the artistic ability.
Re your comment on the biker: funny. But he's not French. He's a stupid Ocalan.
I changed the title of the post on Florida Fotos. You're at fault, too! "Wings"? I mean, really, I had to do something about that! ;)
Now aren't you glad you made your comment? I think the revision makes for a better post!
BTW, had to go to Tampa Monday night but all turned out OK.
I love that necklace!
Her work is lovely, a real artisan.
I use many of the same tools: calipers, file, saw, square - but I never made anything that looked like that! So much talent. Wonderful!
What drop-dead gorgeous jewellery she makes, Ciel. And the concentration that is required must warp the vision.
Thank you for your contribution to our theme for May.
Great jewelry. The necklace is fantastic!
