Like something out of a sci-fi movie. They're taking over!
They could really trip you up!What nice patterns they make.
I love them!! What a great capture, too!! Hope your weekend is going well, Ciel!
That's not a good thing, Ciel. We had great big water oaks in our yard at our old house in Ocala and their roots could tear up walks, driveways, even foundations. You just like the design and photo opportunities! Sheesh! ;-)
They certainly are persistent. You'd think they'd grow down into the ground.
That's really neat, I like the pattern in the sidewalk.
This is unexpected. That makes for hazardous walking conditions.
I admire their strength.
La nature reprend tjr ces droits mm si notre pauvre planete est bien maltraitee grace a l homme...
Roots have the right of way.
I also love tree roots!Cool shot!Léia
this is quite a bold root. usually they stay just under the surface as they disrupt the walkway...not this one.
Its so amazing the strength of a tree root system, the places roots pop through can be quite astounding!
i would be the one to trip on it ;)
It is a great picture. I fell out of love with tree roots when we had to replace our driveway. :(
Oh wow! Looks like they could cause quite a trip :)
Quite common here too, often without the tree roots...
Oh my, those are some strong roots.
Don't go tripping over them, now. You would fall on your pretty face. Ouch.I am going to have to investigate that Kentucky line of clothes or accessories. Very pretty. MB
Kentucky Rain, I mean.
They are actually quite pretty!
Stärke !
I love those beautiful roots, even if you must step carefully:) Stronger than anything!
Love the power of nature!
It's cool looking....but, what a trip hazard.
Very nice shot, Ciel, but they are also a little dangerous...
