The François Daireaux exhibition at the contemporary art centre includes two films. This is a picture of 'Firozabad' showing the glass bangles being loaded on a bicycle. They are made from glass bottles.
L'expo François Daireaux au centre d'art contemporain présente également deux films. Ceci est une photo de "Firozabad' montrant les bracelets en verre lors de leur chargement sur un vélo. Ils sont fabriqués à partir de bouteilles de verre.

This image is fascinating (I'm trying to imagine cycling, heavily laden with glass bangles beyond count!)...and makes the cycle even more compelling - from glass bottles to bangles to art. A truly mutable material.
Looks like fun to me!! Love the name, reminds me of the similar one here in the state some years ago -- Mr. Bow Jangles!
I cannot imagine how heavy they must be to transport on the bike.
Good grief! How do they avoid getting smashed? Bangles dangling from bicycles seem to me to be a disaster in the making! :-)
Eines deiner besten Bilder.
Einen guten Mittwoch dir.
This is a great photo! I liked this very much.

I agree with Michelle, it must be a heavy load.
What a unique and wonderful way to recycle, excellent!
Very interesting and I like a lot the effect, I would never think of glass bottles, this is really creative! :)

Donc , ce sont des tranches de bouteilles?...En ces temps de recyclage , pourquoi pas!
@ Malyss : euh non. Le verre est fondu pour en faire des bracelets.
attention à la casse
Hi Ciel! Hope your day is progressing nicely. I'm on my way to the golf course, but wanted to thank you for your comments and respond in my usual inimitable way.
No, we don't make sweaters from horses. Sometime we make hamburgers from horses, though! Would you believe back in the late 40s early 50s they actually had USDA approved horse meat stores in Phoenix where we lived at the time.
It's true. My mother fed us horse meat for a long time before we finally figured out something was different about our steaks and she confessed. :-)
This comment is re your comment on Florida Fotos re the Goblin Market. They didn't take down the sign 'cause they went out for lunch! :-))
i'd be so worried of breaking them, not to mention the weight of carrying them!
That's quite a sight, Ciel. That would be a delicate balancing act trying to hop on and off that bicycle.
Those are bangles?! They look like some kinda glowing coral to my possibly over-active imagination!
Interesting design of bangles.
Those glass bangles fascinate me for some reason. I love the colors in the blown ones. MB
This picture would perfectly qualify as bicycle art!
This has been a fascinating series.
Interesting use of recycling, I wonder how hard it is to pedal the bike?
That's a big load! I like the colors of the picture, the red bricks and the silvery blue bangles.
Fascinating. I wonder if many shatter as they get driven to the shops that sell them.
The bottles make pretty bangles.
I bet they make a nice sound when the person is riding!
