Yes to more fuel for the (winter) fire! A lit fireplace would be especially welcome on this day. (Loved your Lizzie & Darcy comment! Recently read an article in which Colin Firth said when he was picked to play Darcy 20 years ago, his aunt admonished: Don't be silly, Colin, Mr. Darcy is devastatingly handsome and attractive:)
Kindling is always good. BTW: I imagine the Swan would be tasty. Only they are off limits here. I did run over one a few weeks ago. I was slowly going down a back road when two flew right in front of me and I braked and they braked and hit the ground just as I went crunch. I felt so bad. I called the wildlife people and they came and got him and I survived. Whew!! MB

Preparing to build a toasty fire? That must be one happy dog out on a walk with his two humans.
Maybe the makings of a romantic fire?
The vignetting in this picture works well. It concentrates your attention on the snow and people.
Love this photo. Looks like a nice day for a walk.
You made a fine composition today, Ciel. The vignette border was a good choice.
Good that the kindling will not be wasted.
I'm enjoying your snow pictures.
ahhh la neige est un super spectacle, j'adore cette photo. Le chien est tout content pour se promener sous la neige!

i love this photo :)
I'm really enjoying the sequence. A toasty fire would be really nice right now (it's -10C here)
A nice little fire would do good in our -20c weather we've been having the past few days.
Nice shot of this "street" scene. :)
A useful 'prize' to take home, warm times ahead..lovely image Ciel.
I don't see much heat coming from that, but everything helps...
I like the contrasts to the foreground subjects. Cool shot!
Pouvoir ramasser du bois dans le parc de Versailles, c'est peut être un acquis de la Révolution Française.
@ Michelle: I think this duo was father and daughter!
Kindling is always good.
