Not only are there big red pots with Christmas trees in Saint-Louis neighbourhood, there are also pots with huge baubles! This gent has just bought his Christmas tree!
Non seulement il y a des sapins en pot dans le quartier Saint-Louis, il y a également des boules en pot ! Ce monsieur vient d'acheter son sapin...

I do like those baubles decorating the street.
I like the top photo. It shows the whole scene very well. Those big baubles are pretty cool.
It's a festive look on a gray day. Christmas in Western Europe is interesting to me, since this is a much more religious country (although the commercialism couldn't be more crass).

What a silly season. We cut down trees and drag 'em home and fill our pots with baubles.
A very interesting scene duplicated millions of times around the world on this most festive occasion. Well, it ain't so festive for the trees who are sacrificed to St. Nick aka Santa, aka the baby Haysus. :-)

Par contre le très froid ne me manque pas! Surtout du froid gratuit, sans neige, pour que ça vaille au moins le coup :(
J'ai habité ce quartier deux ans, ça me manque parfois! ( pas le bruit en tout cas )
Sure looks big. I read in my local paper that there's some big Christmas light installation near me that I have missed. I guess I need to check them out.
