Right next door to the cheesemonger (the shop on the right) on rue de Montreuil is a Greek deli. The gent walking by was already tucking into his freshly bought and no doubt still warm baguette!

Hmmm love Greek delis!! This looks like a perfect place for me to hang out!! Oh, and I also love baguettes!!! Great capture for the day, Ciel! Enjoy your weekend!
I like the blue-themed shots of the last few days.
another blue treat :-)
my mom is half Greek, but I've never acquired a taste for Greek food. The baguette sounds really yummy, especially warm! Great anytime of day.
I love their blue lights!
I love it when people say -monger (cheesemonger, fishmonger, etc.).
:)
I agree with Dina, it sounds so traditional, the baguette on the other hand sounds so delicious!!
And a nicely-decorated Greek deli it is. It seems I recall buying a warm baguette in Paris and "tucking" into it immediately. That's the only way to do it!
Hope you're having a good weekend...
I love the blue lights and their framing of that window!
Advent regards from Eagan
Oh, a warm baguette...
I knew it! The aroma was just too overwhelming.
Now I am getting hungry again.
Interesting. I don't think of blue lights as symbolizing Christmas, but lots of people do use them.
@ Jack: I don't either but the French do. Blue is everywhere. I prefer yellow/white...
Yum, is there anything better than a warm baguette (a warm baguette with butter maybe:)? The blue lights are popular here in places too. This spot looks like food heaven on earth!
