Though it rained during most of the month and especially on the weekends, there have been some gorgeous and warm days! These autumn photos of Avenue de Sceaux looking towards the palace were taken on 22 October, on my way to work from home... Note the phone booth... And note that this post went up yesterday instead of today...
Bien qu'il ait plu pendant quasiment tout le mois d'octobre, surtout les weekends, il y a aussi eu de très belles journées chaudes. Ces photos d'automne ont été prises Avenue de Sceaux le 22, alors que je rentrais télétravailler... Notez la cabine téléphonique... Notez également que ce billet a paru hier déjà, erreur...

These are great scenes. I love the street lined with mature, majestic trees.
We have overcast days but could definitely benefit from rain! I see BLUE sky in the second photo!

I'm glad you pointed that out. They are so rare these days. We've had a rather cool, wet autumn, broken by a blast of summer early this week.
I love the mature trees forming the archway. There are very few public phones anymore. Sometimes they take the phone and leave the booth.
That's the light at the end of the tunnel in the first one.

Lovely autumnal views. I adore that boulevard under the canopy of trees. I try to get shots like that sometimes, but they never seem to come out well. I really like yours. :)
