Bida-Beliou by
Mary-Boo. I loved this one, it's glass and I couldn't take a better picture of it. I wonder if its inspiration was a
Kachina.
Bida-Beliou par
Mary-Boo. J'ai adoré, je me demande si l'inspiration a été une poupée
Kachina. C'est du verre et je n'ai malheureusement pas pu prendre une meilleure photo.

Bida-Beliou I don't mean maybe.

Bida-Beliou I don't mean maybe
Bida-Beliou she's my baby love,
My baby love, my baby love."
je savais pas que cette statue avait inspire la chanson de Gene Vincent ;o)) Ok je vais aller me coucher.
It is certainly colorful and quite attractive what with all the angles and patterns. And it does resemble a Kachina doll...
Re your question on The Villages: I think the past is thought to be a simpler and easier time when everyone knew what was expected and everyone knew his/her place. It is a mythical time and none of that is reality, but that's the way it is seen today.
The future is too scary and unknown. How would you put together a futuristic city and make it attractive and enticing. Consider our futuristic movies - they are almost all horror stories with great cataclysms, a time of terror and desolation.
Well, you asked. :-)
Whoa, regardless of the inspiration, it's very cool!
It is an unusual work of art for the grand hall.
I immediately thought of a Kachina when I saw this!
That's awesome.
That is terrific, Ciel, and I, too, thought of a Kachina when I saw your capture! Love the colors!
It's definitely a kachina. C and I once attended a two day kachina dance on the Hopi reservation. It was the closest we've come to an out-of-body experience.
Il a fumé quoi, Olivier?..:o)
Incroyable que ça soit en verre!
Un petit air Maya. Très joli.
Interesting title! I like this picture a lot, the colors are vibrant!

At first I took it for an anthropomorphic jukebox!
It does appear to be a Kachina but I like VP's response.
I like the Paintings too. I wish I could paint well actually I would just like to pencil sketch but what I see in my brain doesn't come out my finger tips. Such is life. MB
I was wondering what it was. At first I thought it was a Rococo style fire extinguisher. I know, I really should go to bed.
It is rather out of place here, but that makes me like it even more. An unexpected find! :)
Ce verre est étonnant! Ma première pensée fut kachina.
I haven't heard of a Kachina before Ciel, love to learn about something new.
Love the contrast to the classic door!
