I've seen a similar effect in St. Augustine at an exhibit about Columbus' journey to these parts...it was impressive and as I'm sure this must have been, although I can't imagine improving on the Hall of Mirrors!
Das erste Bild kann man stundenlang ansehen. Vielen Dank für dieses Vergnügen zur Nacht.Einen guten Wochenbeginn dir.
So lovely to see.
How simply gorgeous... in this over-the-top elegance. Very nice photos, and I imagine it was spectacular to see with your own eyes.Bises,Genie
That ornate ceiling provides a great surface for light to bounce off.
This must have been a fabulous night.
Ptolomean or Copernican heaven? I've wondered where the word bokeh comes from (although I've never bothered to look it up). Sounds Turkish.
Beautiful bokeh effect!
It's hard to imagine topping yesterday's photo of the hall of mirrors, but you have! FYI, bokeh is derived from the Japanese word boke.
It's like eye candy! Have a happy Monday.
A gorgeous bokeh effect - sigh, it must've have been spectacular in person!
Ou comment encore transcender un lieu dejà magnifique!C'est fort, tres fort!
j'en attrape le torti coli
Another really cool lighting effect. Are those the three wise men?
Strange and funny...
very neat!!
I am really enjoying this series, Ciel! Glad you made it.

I love the idea of museums' night, and obviously love the ceiling in your photo.Have a great week ahead!
@ Halcyon: Louis XIV is in the middle, so that would be a different kind of Trinity or wise men!
Interessant. Un genre de bokeh inverse?
