But it's not just a sign, it's a creative work of art. I love it! Anyone can put up a sign, the owners of Philippe Pele put up something worth looking at (and photographing)...
Re your comment on Florida Fotos: Jimmy sells peanuts on the corner of a busy street near the little town of Lake Weir (the lake is huge, the town is tiny). He has raw peanuts, fried peanut, roasted peanuts, etc. The only ones I like are the roasted ones. There are many "Jimmy's" on the highways and byways of Central Florida! :-)

A lovely sign and well capture photo.
the first boulangerie I ever shopped in was in San Francisco! wonderful place!
love the angle of the shot!
Like all good signs, this one makes you want to walk into the shop.
Heureusement la tradition a la vie dure!
Streets would be more interesting if there were more interesting signs.
Great sign, bet it smells great as you walk by.
Shops signs originated because people couldnt read, so as you say there's no problem with this one.
That's a nice sign and quite inviting to check out their produce...
God bless you!
Cezar

Signs add so much to a walk, I agree.

Hope your Sunday is progressing nicely!
Classic outdoor hanging signs like this one are terrific! They add so much character to a business.
What a great sign; obviously a bakery.
Darryl and Ruth :)
Yum! Nothing better than a freshly-baked baguette for breakfast. :)
Those baguettes are a dead giveaway Ciel!! There is nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread, not many can resist!
I really like that kind of signs...
Revolutionnaire et tres gironde la petite boulangère!
I wonder if in French bakeries one can find the musichiere bread!
Hah! The severe angle is just right for this sign. Well done, Ciel.
So much charm!
