Not only does this lovely delicatessen shop in Montreuil sell wonderful food, the owner also teaches you how to make Advent wreaths!

Oh, I wonder how long those shutters have been there, that gold lettering is exquisite!
A very creative Advent wreath, the orange slices take it over the top.
That is a nice wreath. The outside does not lead one to believe there is such a nice wreath inside..
What a beautiful and quaint little place. Love their wreath.
The wreath is pretty. I don't remember seeing sliced oranges used to decorate a wreath before.
It works, as long as oranges have a sacred significance for you. The Hand On The Hat? Is that equivalent to the English expression a tip of the hat?
That wreath is just wonderful. I would love to have it.
Sharing is the most wonderful gift, the shop owner deserves to be respected !!!
@ Jack: very common to use dried oranges, especially in Germany and Scandinavian countries.
@ Randy: easy! All you need is fir tree branches, cinnamon sticks and dried orange (it takes 5 hours in the oven to dry the slices)...
Christmas is in the air! I love this kind of decorations - ok, I love all kind of Christmas decorations - must be this child in me:)
Have a nice day, Ciel:)
A rather unassuming exterior but it must be nice inside with all the kinds of things you like. I'm not much on Advent wreaths although I'd probably like many of the delicatessen delicacies!
Great idea! Very pretty wreath.
Very nice wreath. We always had an Advent house with many windows to open every day. MB
I am loving all the holiday DIY projects lately! An Advent wreath sounds fabulous, especially if that's dried oranges and cinnamon on it :D
Funny name, nice wreath!
Exquisite! Traditions of Christmas are wonderful to see photographed so well.
I like the advent wreath very much and would LOVE to know how to make one. Wish I lived closer!
What a unique wreath. I love the cinnamon & orange idea. 5 hrs in oven? I might make a few for my tree with the kids! Thanks for the inspiration!
