I love the look of cobblestones, but walking on them really hurts my feet, as I discovered when we were in Europe this spring, and again in Russia this month. — K

They certainly do have that 'ripply' kind of look Ciel! Always amazes me how grass and weeds seem to find their way into every situation..Btw I don't do much running myself Ciel, walking is just so much more enjoyable oui!!
Lovely and charming. I'm only aware of a few cobblestone streets still in existence around these parts. It's amazing to think every stone was hand set so many years ago. When's the last time there was a pothole in one of these streets?
We have a couple of wavy cobblestone streets too. They are especially fun to drive over in a car, but one has to go very slowly. I like the setting in your image, it has charm :^)
They just don't make streets like that anymore, hey? Charming...
[I can't say for certain, but I doubt Peles Castle puts on any shows, film or real, in its 60-seater theatre. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that Romania is an under-appreciated and under-marketed destination, for locals or outsiders.]

This is pretty, nice idea with the cobblestones leading back.
I like the look of cobblestones and it is not hard for me to navigate them, but I would hate to be a woman in high heels trying to walk on the stones.
I love the look of cobblestones. This looks like an old neighborhood.
Walking on cobblestones with heels is ouch!! but they look so gorgeous!
Like Regina I like the look too. Haven't tried it in heels though.

It looks like the grass is battling the cobblestones to see ifit can reclaim the street.

Wavy is right. A place of puddles after a hard rain?

I love cobblestones with their old fashioned charm. Might be difficult to walk, especially in high heels, but they look lovely:)
Love the old cobblestones.
This remind me of something I have seen recently...
Love the random doors. Not one is the same :-)
Quel charme!
