We used to have a sign above every pub quite similar to this but sadly a lot have gone or have been replaced with altogether less interesting and less well made modern ones!! Nice to see this traditional sign remains.

Gorgeous colors!! The sign is quite elaborate, the windmill is a great touch.
The red and yellow is shown off to it's best against that brilliant blue sky Ciel, mmmmmm! a croissant right now would be divine!!

I like these hanging signs so very much. They are not common here.
What does Boulanger mean? Or is that the name of the bakery? Love how the red sign stands out, Ciel :D
