Fabulous, Ciel. I just changed my desktop settings to point toward some photos I took near Arles and Avignon a few years ago, and two of the photos are of a yellow and a red storefront similar to this one. Love it.
Having moved from Texas to the northeast - I don't see things anymore that remind me of growing up, everything looks so different here. I miss that.
I told my husband I wanted to learn to speak French. When I tried to pronounce something in french with my Texas accent he said I could single-handledly destroy french culture!! :-)

And of course I am interested for the yellow and red color of this storefront from the 60s...

Neat colors, definitely retro. I like store that keep to their original decor, it's fun to reminisce.
Can't miss those colors. Happy Friday!
60's and 70's architecture is rather forgettable, in my view, except the colors save this facade.
You showed a butcher shop today, and Steffe from Hanige, Sweden showed a butcher.
mais non il n'y a pas si longtemps
Beautiful memories...I like the combination yellow and red in this facade!
bises et bon week-end,
Léia
Bon c'est pas si vieux, cela est rassurant. Bon week-end!
It's tres retro Ciel, you can't go wrong with retro in my opinion! Have a great weekend.
You are right and I like the style!
In this fast paced, ever evolving world, it is comforting to know some things haven't changed too much. Hope you have a splendid weekend :^)
I love the seventies with their bold use of color! Does Boucherie mean butcher? :D

Il est comment le boucher ?
you sure couldn't miss this building anyway!!
Typically these are in older neighborhoods where one can find fabulous food. I would love to visit this store.
C'est vrai qu'elle fait tres 70ies, cette devanture..ça nous rajeûnit pâ, ma Pov'dame..! :o)

Yes, very retro store front...
It has some sort of a retro style...
And I remember a few butcher shops here in Stavanger.
Not that many left these days.
